Private Lessons

For those who prefer one-on-one lessons, Darren will teach you the skills and concepts required to get you started with Northwest Coast carving or contemporary wood carving, or further refine your carving skills and knowledge.

Apprenticeships

Darren has always had a passion for inspiring youth to live their best life.  He has worked with several apprentices teaching them how to succeed not only as career artists, but in many facets of their life (e.g. setting personal goals, getting along with others, and managing their emotions).

Periodically, Darren will take on new apprentices to assist with larger projects such as totem poles.

Drop-In Class

Darren has hosted a Friday morning drop-in class for those interested in carving with others for a few hours.  No previous experience necessary. Instruction, materials, and tools are provided. This offering depends on Darren's availability.
